Originally a location house for fashion, interiors and celebrity shoots, the two bedrooms at 40 Winks, in a quiet corner of east London, are now a favourite pitstop for photographers, stylists, models and designers, and once a month, the venue for the best pyjama party in town.
Pyjama party? you say….Yes, yes, a pyjama party, we say. Hosted in the opium den-esque drawing room once a month.
Quite simply you arrive in your best pyjamas – kimonos allowed – and settle down for some Bedtime Stories with talented dream weavers such as National Storytelling Laureate Katrice Horsley and story-spinner, TUUP.
As with booking the two bedrooms and their gilded bathroom, tickets for these events are rarer than gold dust, so if you are intrigued, write to Miss Daisy now to nab some tickets for Bedtime Stories in June and July.
